AGUR’s evolving body of work brings together handmade ceramic pieces shaped by material research, design experimentation and distinctive making techniques. Our signature lustre glazes emerge through layered firings, creating shifting metallic surfaces that respond uniquely to light. Together, pieces from the same collection form a harmonious family, while the handmade process makes every object singular; enter each collection to discover its pieces individually.

Environmental Manifesto

My tree is never cut down, anywhere in the world.

Ceramics begin with earth. For us, making from the earth must also mean caring for what grows from it.

Handmade ceramic vessel inspired by the form and surface of a tree
AGUR ceramic object with a bark inspired surface

Surface becomes a reminder.

The memory of the tree enters daily life through touch.

Energy is part of the design.

Material choices, glazes and firing cycles are considered not only for their beauty, but also for the energy they require.

Objects can speak for the living world.

AGUR performance with ceramic marine forms

Our sculptures give form to endangered species, overfishing and the consequences of a warming planet. They ask us to notice what is disappearing, to remember what is at risk and to care before it is too late.

From earth, without taking the tree. From fire, with responsibility.

Material Heritage · Signature SurfaceEredità materica · Superficie distintiva

A contemporary dialogue with Persian lustre.Un dialogo contemporaneo con il lustro persiano.

Rooted in a centuries-old ceramic tradition refined in Persian workshops, lustreware transforms metallic compounds such as silver and copper through a second, reduction firing. The process creates luminous gold, copper and iridescent surfaces. AGUR engages this heritage as a point of departure, continually reinterpreting it through material research, firing control and a contemporary design language.
